- Abstract
Hawassa-Zeway watershed has experienced significant land cover changes from 1984 to 2019 including lose of natural areas (loss of forest, water bodies, and swamp) and gain of forests (woodland and plantation forests). The forest and water bodies change information was derived using the 1984 and 2019 land cover layers created in MRV center. ed
